Saturday 28th April to Tuesday 17th July.

This year is the 850th anniversary of the foundation of St. Mary’s Cathedral (1168), and St. Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick Sinfonia, and Limerick Pipe Organ Festival will be collaborating to celebrate the occasion. We are delighted to announce that several beautiful concerts will be held in Limerick over the coming weeks, including:

 

Saturday, 21st April, 8PM: Choral & Orchestral Concert for St. Mary’s Cathedral’s 850th anniversary (further details to follow shortly);

Saturday, 19th May, 5PM: Three Choirs Concert at St. Mary’s Cathedral;

A national cathedral choir and organ celebration will be hosted by St. Mary’s Cathedral, involving the cathedral choirs of St. Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny, and Christ Church Cathedral, Waterford, together with our own St. Mary’s Cathedral Choir. Friday, 29th June, 7:30PM: Organ Concert at St. John’s Cathedral;

This concert will feature prize-winning organist Sebastian Heindl, winner of 2017 Northern Ireland Organ Competition.

Monday, 16th July, 7:30PM: The Choir of King’s College, Cambridge.
