We’re looking forward to our upcoming concerts this July:
Tuesday, 12th July, 8PM – Sacred Heart Church, David Cassan (Winner St. Alban’s International Improvisation Competition 2015).
Wednesday 13th July, 1:15PM – Lunchtime Concert by the Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
David Cassan is tenured organist at Notre-Dame des Victoires and Notre-Dame de Lourdes in Paris. He is a renowned soloist and accompanist, having won awards at numerous international competititons, including Pierre Pincemaille (France), André Marchal (France), Boëllmann-Gigout (France), Merklin (France), Haarlem (Netherlands), Saint-Albans (England), Westfalen Impro 5 (Germany), Schwäbisch Gmünd (Germany) as well as the Great Jean-Louis Florentz International Prize from the Academy of Arts (France). He is also laureate from Dudelange’s competition (Luxembourg). He has played with numerous famous artists and orchestras (Didier Sandre, Jean-Loup Chrétien, Orchestre National de Lyon, Capitole de Toulouse, Quatuor Girard, Romain Le Leu…) in prestigious places in France and abroad (Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Belgium, England, Uruguay, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland…). We look forward to welcoming him to Limerick on the 12th of July.
